Perfection – the acoustic version of this is best as it tends to fuss a lot less. It represents the fleetingly fantastic moments in my life – those all too brief snatches of unbridled happiness that often finish suddenly, just like the song. It has grown in its importance to me as I have grown and has taken on different meanings.

"Just like Heaven" is a song by the British alternative rock band The Cure. The group largely wrote the song during recording sessions in Southern France in 1987. The lyrics were written by the band's frontman Robert Smith, who drew inspiration from a past trip to the sea shore with his future wife. Before Smith had completed the lyrics an instrumental version of the song was used as the theme for the French television show Les Enfants du Rock.

That blog no longer has public access because I felt myself bleaching my posts and I did not want to go down the road of censorship to protect people’s feelings. I have done good and I have done bad, I have been charitable and I have been selfish, I have been in the darkest underbelly of depression and on the dizzy peaks of ecstasy, I have won and I have lost I have laughed and I have cried.
